BiS Pays Tribute to t.A.T.u. in "Paprika" PV

Rookie idol unit BiS are showing off their darker side in the group's latest PV "Paprika." With the unexpected tag line of "remember t.A.T.u.," it's taken more than a few people by surprise. See what's got everyone talking here!

Self-styled DIY idols BiS, who released their first album Brand-new idol Society on March 23rd, have been causing quite the stir in certain music circles as of late. With their hands-on approach to their image and activities, their sometimes erratic, often rock-inspired performances have gotten them noticed in a scene where idols are more frequently recognized for polished routines.
The group's new PV is no exception to that stage presence. With the recent disbandment of the "All The Things She Said" hitmakers t.A.T.u., "Paprika" has become their personal homage to the girl duo as the members kiss and headbang throughout the entire video, pushing the boundaries of what can be expected from an idol unit. Take a look at the PV below

The PV was directed by Tanaka Koji, known for his work with fellow idols Momoiro Clover and, notably, Kago Ai's controversial Kago Ai vs. FRIDAY DVD.

On April 24th, BiS will perform their own solo live "God save the BiS" at the heavy sick zero venue in Nagano, so be sure to look out for more from these girls!
